gamesalad tutor wanted

mutinysoftmutinysoft Member Posts: 59
i want a tutor to help me make my first game, just someone who i can regularly email or talk to on skype or on some sort of chat. my game is a TDS game. (zombie killing game)

ive made 70% of this game in gamemaker before but lost interest when the coding became to complex to understand with the little time i had to search through many forum posts.

im a graphic designer not a programmer but i want to be one because i want to start making my own games rather than paying people to do it for me.

    Hello MutinySoft,
I'd be very interested in tutoring you on how to use the GameSalad software from beginner to advanced as I have been using the software approximately 8 months now. You can email me at matthewredler@gmail.com if you're interested.

    Regards,
    Matt :D

There is almost everything you need to know in the cookbook videos and searching around here. Sit and watch through as many of the videos as you can bear and it will take you a very long way. The new cookbook pages and the wiki also are a great deal of help, and googling the forum for answers (rather than using the inbuilt search) really is useful. Take it this way and then if you are really stuck ask on the forum. Often you will get really good answers (and better still answers if you have taken yourself to place where the questions get really interesting).

    hope that helps

    Fabulous Advice.

I think these post really make those looking to grab everyones money anyway they can just simply shine. See you'll even see people like TSB and myself who make a decent amount helping members of the forum with their project always recommend something similar when we see these's post.

New users don't realize how easy this software is to use and will always be surprised how much they can learn for free if they just give it a chance. I have even been know to send someone emailing me for project help to a demo or video on their issue before taking money and fixing the issue for them.

    Give it a shot mutinysoft.

I made my first game in gs within 10 days.Graphics took the most time. And is a good game.
I thought how will i make the game when i have not touched gs before.
But when i started everything got working because how easy it is.The videos they help you so much that you can make a simple descent game with the tutorials.
And also the community is helpful and you do get most of the solutions here.

SO for learning gs i think tutorials and community is enough. And for advanced things paid help is available.
