how to make actor blink for a few seconds

Hi all.

im sure there is a neat trick to make an actor blink for a few seconds when a player/actor restarts after having lost life.

any ideas ?

    You need an animation and a timer that says for 2 seconds Animate

    whenever you want him to blink have a rule to change image to the blink image

    then have another rule when attribute self image= (your blink image name)
    -timer after 1 second run to completion checked
    --change image to non blink image
