I have yet to publish a game but, I think that game salad puts on the internet as an HTML 5 game or something, and apple publishing goes to iPhones etc.?

You have to register as an Apple developer if you want to publish on an iOS device. Then you need to set up profiles for each game you're making. After you've made the game, registered as a developer and set up a distribution profile for the game you can publish using the button in Gamesalad. It's tricky at first, but just follow that tutorial about working with provisioning profiles and you'll be ok.

You publish to gamesalad to get the finalized coded file, and then you publish that file to apple.

And you need all of the apple account stuff like provisioning profiles to be able to publish an iOS version through GameSalad.

You need a distribution certificate to have legal rights to distribute the game to the public.

There are two great tshirtbooth videos on utube to show you firstly to publish you finished app in Gamesalad so that they send you the file (You then need to zip this up for itunes)

Then check out the video to upload to itunes...just check out the Gamesalad video in uTube...that's what I did. It takes a while to set the initial set up stuff but after that it's easy.

Oh don't forget you also need to purchase the Apple IOS Developers program from Apple ($99)...hope this helps?
