Icon became colorless HELP ME

I made everything ok,but my icon color became colorless when i add it.

What can i do to fix this problem. I made it at 72 dpi RGB color. And Format is .png

Where am i making wrong? It seems colorless at itunes too.

    I had exactly the problem you have. The only thing i needed to do was to change the size of the picture to 512x512 in preview. I think it was that it automatic scale it down 9 times and then it is nothing left of the color :) sorry for my bad english,i´m 14 year old from sweden
