Working with layered images - best practice?

Hi, how do you guys work with multiple layered images?

I have a number of images layered on top of each other, and depending on conditions their alpha is either on or off. But the problem I have is that I can only ever choose the top layer when I want to modify its behaviours etc. So I'm costantly having to pull the scene apart and reconstructing it!

Also, is there any way to tell the layer order of images? It gets v. confusing fast when you have multiple images stacked up!

Above the Window which displays your actors, attributes and devices there's a little switch for game/scene. Go to scene and then select Layers instead of Attributes. There you're able to manage your whole scene layer-wise aswel as selecting every actor in the scene by simply clicking on them.
