.gsuser file

Do we necessarily need the .gsuser file when publishing? It seems to be a huge file that apple doesn't need. I think I recall fire maple games posting he removed the file and had no real issues.

The .gsuser file is removed automatically when you publish.
However, it is kept when you publish to the web.
I tried to delete it once and my entire project was corrupted.
Just ignore it.

What kind of software could you use to open and view the gsuser file?
