GS engine for the all new Ipad??!!

A new touch screen design apple product has come! The so called ipad will make the app store bigger, larger and more populair... will it be the same app store for the ipod touch or will a new
app store launch for the ipad? will there be a new game salad?

please share what you think!!

    From what I read, the ipad will run iphone apps straight away and also has the option to run them at x2 size for full screen. So seeing as we can already set a canvas size on GS I assume it would only need a simple modification their end to give us the option to output for the ipad.

    I wonder if the new 3.2 SDK supports images over 1024x1024 now that the standard view will be quite large.

    Yeah, I hope GS can make some simple tweaks to adjust their camera object to support the newer, larger iPad resolution (or preferably, add another option to sense the device and adjust accordingly with a boolean game attribute to enable/disable the re-sizing...scrolling games shouldn't care but other games will and will need to adjust accordingly).

    Yeah, it still works but i guess you would just need to make some minor adjustments to native app development scrolling routines (i.e. when in the scroll you would add the next image to be scrolled on). I guess they did it more for a resource factor than an ease in background (or whatnot) development. Traditional scrolling mechanisms for the win I guess.
