How in the world do I make a moving background?

Noob Here!....im starting to make a new game and i am trying to figure out how to make my background move. The background will be part of the game so i need to be able to change and keep the speed consistent. I have like 5 different parts of the background that i want to flow together...like one right after the other but i have no idea how to make a moving background! should I be using 5 different parts for the background or should i make just one whole piece?

go on to layers and uncheck your background from scrollable
