My game only uses 2rMB of memory, so what else could stop it from working on a iphone 3g?

How is it not working - and what is 2rMB of memory?

And what are all your memory scores when you look at the game in viewer?

More info means we can help you more!

    whoops meant 25MB

When you click on it with a 3g, it just crashes(I.E app never loads and goes back to the iphone home screen)

    Images 8.1Mb
    Sounds 104kb
    Game Engine 5.8 MB
    Other 11.4MB
    Total 25.5

    Thanks

I know someone who has an iPhone 3gs who never upgraded their firmware. I believe it was running 3.1 (he's never even synced it to iTunes in the 3 years or so that he's had it!). Anyway, I asked him to try download my free app, Cloud Runner. It does exactly what you say happens with your game on the 3g. When you start the app, it crashes back to the home screen. Rebooting the iPhone did not help.

In comparison, I have an iPhone 3gs with firmware 4.2.1. It runs it just fine and I've tried the app via the Viewer, Ad Hoc build, and App Store download on my iPhone without any problems. Cloud Runner is a pretty simple endless runner game and it's only 3.1 MB in size so I don't see any reason why a 3gs with old firmware wouldn't be able to run it. I believe I built it with version 0.9.4 of the GS Creator.
