Hi Everyone,

I'm thinking on using Anime Studio to make the the animations for my game. Could I make and animation in Anime Studio and then import it to use in GameSalad?

Thanks

I am not sure what anime studio exports but you an import animation frame from any program that puts out frames and if you have any program that converts movies to frames you can then import those frames. The main thing it to get the exported frames to the size you want for the actor. A quick search here will tell you about 'powers of 2' for graphics in Gs but it is basically that must use graphics that are sized to even numbers and each side can be a different measurement. Also graphics are held in certain memory sizes-- 2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256,512,1024.

if you run to even one number above it uses the memory of the next power of 2 in the list and double the memory used.

Also be aware that if you want your character to sit on the background with a rectangular block around it, that you have to export with an alpha channel.

    hope that helps.
