I was not trying to sound rude but after a year with GS I have found that unless you are TSB, Darren, Sheep, and a handful of others most people don't give you the time of day.
Thanks for playing... BTW your game rocks very iso friendly. Have you thought of a name yet?
Also IMO I feel that people say "way to go" to the crappy games, to keep themselves on the top.
If you know what I mean, sorry for the rant I just want a better community around here.
I will always keep making games, it's my passion. I do everything you have mentioned everyday.
After one year and four games I feel that I have only gotten stronger with each month/game.
I have never doubted the the boys club are pure talent. I have supported all of them and I have gotten everyone of their games.
And as for the community I just have seen better vibes elsewhere.
''don't be discouraged, just keep your eyes and heart fixed on your goal of being the best game designer you can possibly be, open up GameSalad and tinker away!" Great words man
Nobody is entitled to attention or praise or... well, anything. It has to be earned.
From what I can see, you're making good progress in your quest to be a designer and apart from the 'No-one gives a !@#$% unless you're so and so' vibe, your attitude is good.
I half agree with you about the community. I wish that game idea discussion was more prevalent than the money based discussions. It creates a horrible vibe for me, personally, but I like that there are others that *do* want to discuss such things, and that really, you will not find a more helpful bunch of misfits on any other forum
Good luck to you.

Thanks for the complement, coming from you that is a big deal in my book. You are like the Joss Whedon of game design to me(I did film studies and he was my inspiration)
I also wish for a indie game vibe not a money making vibe. I also know that the help vibe is strong, I would never had gotten started without the forums(but I do most if not all things on my own now)
BTW your newest game is great
