Is Anything Possible?

Might sound like a pretty open ended question, but is pretty much anything possible...?

i.e. Say for example, I wanted to make a game where actors are spawned onto the screen at random intervals and randomnly move around the screen. The purpose of the game is to 'join' actors together to create words or numbers so when two or more actors or combined they change to form an accumulation?

For example - two circles are on the screen with '7' and '10' in them. My user joins them together and they change to one circle with '17' in?

Does that make sense? lol

Pretty much any 2D game is possible and even the impossible things are pretty achievable with a little bit of creative thinking. Once we have joints, arrays and other cool features that are coming soon, anything will be possible :)

The game you said is definitely achievable

Excellent, thanks for the reply Ace.

I guess I shall dedicate my evening to working out the intricacies and seeing how to achieve what is in my head with what is possible with GS :)

Yup, and if those evenings get too long and tedious, people are always willing to help out on here so just give us all a shout :)

Just have a practice. Maybe start a new project and try to see if you are able to make what you want without the complications of your current project. If it works, incorporate it into what you are currently making.

In terms of what's possible in GameSalad, the possibilities are down to your own knowledge. To me, 3D is impossible in GameSalad, but some people have the knowledge to create Psuedo 3D which I thought would have been impossible. Get my drift?
