Art Work Size Issue

Hi,
I have created an iPhone Portrait project. I have created a PNG file which is 640x960 at 72 pixels/inch.

I have ticked the enable resolution independence option. However, when i add the actor to my home screen scene, the image just expands above the size of the template? It's as if the template is actually 320x480 and my image is double.

It was my understanding that I had to create the image at double the size for retina and then select the enable resolution independence?

    EDIT: I believe I rectified my own issue :)
