How many more Beta versions before full version GS releases?

Just curious, and I know I may not get an answer to this, but one can always hope! 
I hear there is going to be an update Beta release for GS soon, how many more of these can we expect before the full version is released?
Just curious, with all the changes, it makes me a little hesitant to work on a game if the changes are so drastic that you may have to reprogram some rules or attributes.
I saw that in another forum, one of the head chefs explained that it will be smooth integration for those of us who have been working on games since the first beta release, so just wanted to check in with that.
Will we be expecting a save feature with this new upcoming beta release? Or will that be later on
