They said that they would release more info in few weeks and that was 27 days ago that the question was posted. Has anyone seen more info on selling items in the gamesalad marketplace?
My guess is the marketplace will be closed except for select select approved users for quite some time.
As that is also my hope. so we can eliminate the users who join the forum to sell crap, and have no interest in GameSalad.
During the GameSalad 0.9.6 Beta release, we introduced the first iteration of GameSalad Marketplace. The full GameSalad Marketplace is still in development and we are looking to consistently improve the Marketplace experience for our users. The library of art assets that we launched with originated from third party partners chosen by the GameSalad team. In the near future, We plan to open Marketplace up for public asset uploading.
Currently, we are working toward developing a streamlined system which will allow for users to upload and sell assets on GameSalad Marketplace. As we solidify this process, We will continue to share details with you.
Our vision of GameSalad Marketplace is to provide game creators a fast and easy way to bring high quality assets, improved production value to their project, and provide independent artists and creators access to our developer community. We can't wait to delivering this exciting project in a more robust state to you soon!
