‘Wobble Bass Station’ goes straight to No. 1 in App Store New and Noteworthy.
Apple UK ranked Fresh Touch Media’s latest Dubstep App, ‘Wobble Bass Station’ the number one music app this week. The app generates wobble bass sounds that are the key stone sound of the Dubstep genre, which has recently exploded into mainstream music.
App Store customers can now create their own Dubstep with ‘Wobble Bass Station’. The application features four bass synthesizers, Dubstep drum loops and fx. It also includes a waveform visualizer that alters frequency as the pitch changes.
It is the first app of its kind that utilises multi-touch technology to generate multiple synthesizer sounds with varying pitches.
The app is priced at $0.99 and is available for download on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch 3Gs.

That doesn't actually mean anything (it's not like it's the best *selling* music app, or the most popular, which seems to be what it's trying to suggest) and might come across as disingenuous.
After all, a press release is designed to go out to the press - and most seasoned iOS writers will see straight through this and maybe look upon it unfavourably as if you're trying to 'con' them.
Or they might not! What do I know, eh?

And if I admitted all that, it might scare people.

Ps: Lord have mercy, how's she even get them britches on?!
"made it to first place in the UK New and Noteworthy section of Music Apps" or something along those lines. Its obviously a positive point and therefore needs mentioning.
Cheers QS. Night
Or '50 million downloads!' - when only 10 are paid...
You get the idea...
