After a long journey of trying to balance saving money for pro and paying for doctor visits (baby boy is on the way) I finally managed to get hold of a pro account by winning the Think Outside the Box 3 contest. Money just wasn't working out in my favor so I did what seemed like the last possible solution, enter the contest. So I spent those three weeks and really worked hard on the entry and ended up winning! So long story short, Dust Those Bunnies! is on the way!

    About Dust Those Bunnies!:

    Since the beginning of time, man’s worst enemy has plagued households around the world. The Dust Bunny! These dastardly creatures are extremely dangerous in large numbers and have been known to spread like wildfire. Armed with a broom and dust pan, only you can save the world from this torment.

    Unleash your wrath on the dust bunnies by sweeping them away for good. With two modes, ‘Wage War’ and ‘Commando’, you can choose your method of attack. In ‘Wage War’, you have a full arsenal at your disposal including weapons like microfiber cloths and dust vacs. If you’re feeling groovy, you could throw a disco party to lure the enemy closer. But watch out for bunny bombs. They will destroy your dust pan if you give them the chance. In ‘Commando’, it’s just you and a broom.

    I think it's fun. It takes some practice to master the art of sweeping and getting really high scores, but once you get the hang of it, it's very addicting. I can see some very competitive action going on with the leaderboards. :)

    Approved and ready for sale!!! Woo Hoo. (Dang that was fast!)

    So here's my plan, any feedback is welcome...

    1. Send out promo codes and review requests
    2. Send out press release using prmac
    3. Update Sketch Ball with a bunny in the menu that links to Dust Those Bunnies!
    4. Release next week on Thursday and make Sketch Ball free also

    Anyone have any better ideas?

    Wow! AMAZING art style! I LOVE IT! If I had an itouch or iphone I'd buy it on the first day!

    But I'm the web engineer so I don't own one :P I am saving up though, so I'll buy it when I get one.

    That was the reason why I entered totb3 too. Didn't win but in the end I had tons of fun and learned a lot.

    Thanks Ludwig. I thought your submission was cool by the way. Had an old school kind of feel that I liked. I'll try and find some socks with a thumb character on them.

    Speaking of which, as of August 13, I am now officially a proud father. My wife had him naturally and she handled it like a champ. His name is Austin, the joy of my life. :)
