I'd really like to see what people are doing in different genres with gamesalad. Why not make a forum with a section for physics, adventure, platformer, etc. instead of one announce your game section? I think it would be cool and might even encourage people to think outside of the box more as they say around here.

I would rather enjoy a sub forum with a severe focus on game design that was a little protective of its nature. Here all could post, or read, but postings of 'off topic', searchable solutions, or noise were met with a mild kicking. It might raise the game a little and be informative on somewhat more complex problems, etc. It might also be good place for something like the wondrous posting of the the game dev conference vid links that were posted yesterday.

    only an idea.

It's a good idea. I'm still all for a 'pro only' forum with this kinda focus. That would save the time needed to moderate out all the kiddy comments.
