    He means: I found my game on Installous. Can I do anything about it. Will this help my sales (is Installous paid?) or will it harm my sales?

    Answer: You can't really do much about it, and it is free so it will most likely harm your sales. Take it as a compliment that someone bought your game just to crack it. :P

    Also. the people who get games for free from there, would never actually be customers anyway....so it's probably not going to "lose" you any sales.

    Most of installous download links comes from filedude.com, fileape.com, mediafire.com etc. You can send copyright email and they will take action and remove your game from their server.

    You can find which sites provide your game links from google.

    Its actually a huge headache to get these sites to remove the download and even if they do another will pop up. Its not really worth the effort IMO I tried on my first game but the amount of information you need and the channels you have to go through are such a pain in the ass I didn't bother since theres so many hosting sites its will be listed on.

    Congrats on the hack RUPAS. I was thinking the other day if you really wanted and had a huge hit game with ass loads of sales you could use GameCenter player data as a basis for damages and sue the person who uploaded your app to installous for that. But I would definitely have a lawyer look into that before really getting excited about the idea.

    Basically If you have 50,000 more players on GameCenter than you do downloads and you app is 99¢ you would sue for $50,000 minimum.

    you don't have to have installous to see the listing. Its online as well. If you just search the Game Name on google you will normally find several hacked ipa downloads for each game you search.

    I have apps on Installous. From what I've seen it hurts sales. At least my game is liked enough to be hacked :) If anyone else wants to check if their games have been cracked, the site is http://apptrackr.org/

    Because those people we crack your game won't buy them,if they were not hacked

    Also TSB hack his own game tiny balls on apptraker(or someone use his name and do it)
