iam still confused with testing the game on my ipod

i know sooner or later i have to pay the 99$ to apple, thats not the problem, from there how i transfer my game to the ipod to see how it runs and how the actors looks small/big i have a ipod 2nd and 3rd gen and would like to test my game on both
