How to Change attribute in scene1 and doesn't affect scene2

Hi
Please When I change attribute in scene1 it changes in scene2 also. How to change in scene 1 a random number for example in scene 1 and doesn't change the random number in scene 2

    I open the scene window and click the plus button it creates another copy of the scene. Here I change the random number to 3 instead of 2 in scene 1 . When I checked again I found that in both scenes I have the same last entered number (3) is this normal?

    please you can try it. create a new game . put one actor then put timer and in the timer attribute put random 1,3 for example . then create a new scene and change the random 1,3 to 1,7 then retuen to scene1 ad you'll find that scene 1 has random 1,7 instead of random 1,3 ........please help me

    You need to make a seperate attribute for each level.

    I delete the timer in scene 2 and put a new one and change the number. but unfortunately the same thing happened..... Is this normal?????

    Hi, as John said, you need a separate attribute for each level. To expand on that, make sure your attribute with the same name used in multiple scenes, is a scene attribute, not a game attribute.

    So if you're using scene.RandomNum in scene 1, as long as it's a scene attribute, it won't affect the scene attribute with the same name in the next scene. Hope I've explained that well enough!

    not yet understand it. i tried to make anew attribute in the scene but it's not working. can anyone do a simple example one actor with timer in two scenes with different numbers ?
