Calling up the maps function from game salad

So I have been talking to a few clients who would like games made for them. One thing they keep asking me is to use the maps feature of the iphone.

What they want is to map the potential customer to their nearest location. I know there is no way to do this in game salad. I feel that my only option is to just have a nice picture showing where some of the locations are.

I know that this isn't what GS was designed for but what are my options in this scenario and others like it?

Thanks :)

Corona is the easiest. But that doesn't mean it's just easy.

Yeah I have been looking at Corona. Honestly, the no programming GS interface has spoiled me for life. I feel that I might have to learn how to use Corona.

It's really not that bad, I'm a complete beginner at it... but I'm learning.

Depending on what type of app, you should look at Buzztouch. It's free, but limited in features. VERY easy to use. The one thing is does have is open access to the code, and easy access to maps. In the forums you can find directions on how to make any device detect its location and its proximity to an inputted address.

Edit: Oh sorry, I see now you specified games.

@ the Hoogler (nice name BTW)

Thank you for showing me this I can for sure use this for other stuff that I am doing. I guess a work around would be to release the another map only app. It's kinda an extra step but I can say that the customer will always have app to get to your location.
