Cannot get music to pause and actor to change image

I placed an actor in a scene and added the behavior to play music. When I move on to the next scene the music continues. In this second scene I have an actor that is supposed to be able to turn the music off and then switch its image to a music off image that I have. I added a rule to do these things when touched but it does not seem to be working. What could I do to fix this?
