You don't need to make 2 threads.

I thought I posted the solution to this in the big BOT thread...
    http://gamesalad.com/forums/topic.php?id=15896

    ...but I couldn't find it. Heh, that's not a surprise. It's 25 pages (741 posts) long.

Anyway, the problem here sounds similar to the issue I had with BOT. I had to get the WWDR certificate from the iOS developer website, in order to publish a Mac desktop game. It was very strange and frustrating. But once I did that, I was able to publish the Mac version of BOT.

This information was also included in The Unofficial GameSalad Textbook — the Mac Publishing chapter.

I wrote to both GameSalad (change alert message) and Apple (Fix broken website link) with suggestions to improve this situation. It seems as if those suggestions were not implemented. HA HA.

You may have to delete your certificates and re-create and download and install again.
  • orbnooborbnoob Member Posts: 79
ok, im gonna re-install them all again, and do install the WWDR one, i download the .cer file and just doubble click it right?
  • orbnooborbnoob Member Posts: 79
Re-installed them and it STILL dosnt work! somethings gotta be broken here i dont even know what i could be doing wrong.

is it possible its because i only have xcode 4.0.1 as oppose to 4.1?? i dont want to upgrade to lion just to get it though.

You need a WWDR and two other certificates (Mac App & Mac Installer) for MAS distribution.
