Boucing ball problem

Hi everyone,
I just went through TShirtbooth tut regarding collision. I am trying to set my ball to bounce repeatedly on the floor before coming to a stop. All it does is bounce on the floor and go vertically upwards out of the scence.
I have tried playing around with the ball's physics attribute like, restitution but I am still not getting the desired result.
I have search around the forum for similar problem, but the seem to be too advanced for me as a new user to GS
