Need help,,,please, with platformer

I ask for help, for a few months I've been trying to make an educational game, but I could not do not even complete the first level. I've seen tutorials, but I have failed making my game because I'm not expert, but try to follow, I can not even finish the first part. I need expert help from someone at least tell me how to finish the first level, then try to continue the following levels, please .. Help me!! I'm desperate

The very best advice is to start with something really simple that you don't plan to publish to the appstore. Tempting as it is to try and make money right off the bat, it makes more sense to learn slowly by creating some simple learning projects.

Having someone make the level for you is not going to help that much.

A good place to start would be to create a simple app with shapes that change image, size, location, rotation, play sounds, etc.. when touched. Then perhaps move up to simple games involving a few attributes with these.

Tutorials are good for little things you might want to add in, but you have to be able to use the software proficiently first or you'll get stuck very quickly when something goes wrong. The only way to become an expert is by learning slowly.

thanks for the tips! My game is about a frog found with other frogs, but has struggled to reach his goal without predators to eat it, I'm trying to make the frog jump around platforms but when it does, the platform starts rotating and the frog and the platform falls too, need help in more things, but this is what has given me more work to configure,,, tell me how I upload a video to show what happens

Hi Acolon, no need to upload a video - you've explained it well now.

Your platforms need to be set as immovable, in other words, set Moveable to false (unchecked).

There's a very good platformer template in the GS templates - called.... you've guessed it... Platformer Template!

Seriously, worth checking out so you can learn how stuff is done as well as saving you having to "reinvent the wheel" with certain aspects of it.

Feel free to ask any more questions on the Forums, of course, but hopefully the template will get you further than before.

thank you, I reply late because we are under the storm in PR and are having problems yesterday with the light, after passing this bad weather, I will try to arrange the platforms as you said, then I'll post results thanks!!!
