official controls, I need to change the joystick, how do i do that?

On the official crossplatform controls, I need to change the joystick to where if you move it in any direction, instead of moving proportionally to how close you are to the outside of the thumbstick base, I just want to have it move at max speed immediately. I've tried variations of the equation controlling speed, but it never quite gets me what i need.

Any suggestions?

I'm sure someone has an idea.

Can't you just replace it with a 'change velocity' behavior? (I'm a newb myself, but played with this and it should work)

it already has a move behavior for moving that is attached to the angle of the joystick. But the formula adjusts the speed proportionally to the distance between the center of the joystick, and the outside of the joystick base.

At the farthest point, the ship speed is moving at max speed. What I want is to just have it move at max speed no matter where its at. I can't remove the base, or it goes haywire. I can't just put in a set speed in the 'speed' field under the already made Move behavior, because as soon as the ship comes on the screen it starts moving at that speed without you touching the joystick. I need to adjust that exact behavior to allow the ship to move as normal, just stay at max speed, but not sure how to do that.
