Gamesalad response to "What Features Do You Want?" Thread

Hi guys, I didn't want to mess up the work of art that is the "What Features Do You Want?" Thread, so I'm making a separate thread.

Thanks to everyone that replied and a big thanks to everyone for following the rules! I think it might be a first in internet forum history :D

The good news is that Gamesalad's CEO Steve Felter emailed me to say that he's reading the thread and they're updating their roadmap very soon, and many of the features we're asking for will be updated in the coming months, and they want us to stay patient as they're working as hard as they possibly can.

    Hoorah! I was waiting and waiting for them to add new features. I was SO excited about version 0.9.6., but then I found out it was just a minor aesthetic and bug fixing upgrade. I want to get excited about 0.9.7., and now I think I will.

    And Hip Hip Hooray! Hip Hip Hooray! Hip Hip Hooray! to YOU micksolo. You made this possible. We all griped and groaned, but YOU took it into your hands to do something about it. And look!     i need that you can write rules about attributes of any actor in a game, scene, etc.., from any other object.

    example: i can not put a rule inside the actor1, making reference to actor2.position.x, i need first to create a attribute in game, after that need to pass the value of actor2.position.x to that attribute, and then i can make reference to it from a rule inside actor1.

    That's my only request at the moment.

    unlock the actor in the scene then you can access all the attribute of every actor in the scene

    thanks, and sorry my insistence, dont function for me, for example, actor1, when i doubleclicking in actor1, put inside constrain attribute, or any other behavior, when i click to edit that behavior, only i see is game, device, and the actor1, i cant see for example ball, house, actor10, and that is the feature that i want, i try as you say unlocking all my actor in game, and still the same, i only want to avoid to make some innecesary new attributes, just to bridge values betwen actors.

    You cant do it with prototypes,but you cando it with actor instances.

    thanks, everybody, i very appreciate your help, anyway im trying to help someone in other post, i got the answer for him, but i dont know how to post a print screen i made
