TOUCH to Move like REDUX or WTF

Im trying to get my actor to move with my finger. so if i slide my finger right it moves right and so on in every direction.

any help is appreciated

    well im wanting it to be so wherever i touch the screen it moves the character in the direction I slide my finger. my problem is that with it constrained to the mouse positions it just jumps to my finger instead of just moving in the direction i slide my finger or mouse.

    I figured it out you have to set an offset for when the touch is pressed so it does not jump to where your fnger is

    dinosaur can you please explain how you did this because i am having torubles with it as well, i am trying to do the same exact thing except only slide only in 2 directions
