Platformers and Buttons

I'm trying to make a platformer with on screen controls like in the 'Official Cross-Platform Controller Template", but I've encountered a problem. I want my levels to be long, a bit like mazes or the Platformer Template and I can't figure out the best way to keep the buttons in the same place at all times.

I tried to constrain the x and y of the buttons to the position of the actor with some + and minuses to get them in position, but it doesn't look right and seems jittery. Anyone got any better ideas?

Just hit the scene tab, then go into layers. Make a new layer, bring it to the top, and uncheck scrollable. Then put all your buttons controls and hud/gui stuff on that layer

    cheers

    Works, thanks!

Can't believe I never knew of that feature.
