App Got Rejected...Need Your Opinion on My Next Step

Hey guys,

Good news for today - 0.9.7 is here!!!

Bad news for today - my app got rejected :(

According to Apple, my app "includes one or more Apple trademark images - or likenesses of Apple trademark images". The screenshot they referenced was my More Games scene. In that scene, I have two links. One that takes the user to the App Store, and the other one takes them to our company's website. Next to the sentence stating they can see our other apps on the App Store, we have placed the App Store icon. Then, next to the sentence stating go to our website for more info, we placed the Safari icon.

I know that this technically violates their guidelines, but this is the same More Games scene that I used on ALL of our other apps, and there has never been an issue with them. I would like the More Games scene to be consistent throughout all of our apps, so the fact they have rejected this one, which by the way is the iPad version of an iPhone app they already approved, is very strange. So, please answer my question in the poll above and give me your feedback on what I should do from here.

Thanks for your help everyone!

Send them an email as well as appeal it. They won't remove your apps after they've already approved them. Sometimes some testers don't completely understand the rules but would rather err on the side of caution. I'm sure it's a new guy/gal that doesn't want to lose their jobs with Apple because their stock is soaring and I'm sure they get stock options...

Thanks doc, glad to know they won't remove any of our other apps after they have been approved. I will go ahead and appeal the review then. Thanks for your advice!
