Pull data from Web / Api / Server?

I tried to search the forum, FAQ and Support, but didn´t come up with an answer.
Is it possible to load / pull data from Web / Api / Server?
Example: Let´s say i make a game and i want to pull in random CC Flickr pics as background for the menus and elements in the game. Is something like that possible with Gamesalad?
That would alos be important for Customers, if they would like to do easy live updates of the app content

That´s a big downer, because it rules out a lot of customers. - there goes the easy money. well well....
