I've been getting close to finishing my game, but i'm noticing that sometimes if i tilt the game (it's meant to be portrait only) the screen shifts. It's a little weird.. its not consistent when it tilts..

However ultimately I just want to lock it so the game will not flip to landscape under any circumstance. :)

Thanks!
Caleb

Hi Caleb, go to your GS file, scene edit window, Game > Devices > Screen. There you can set for Portrait orientation only in Device Orientation and Interface Orientation.

Thanks Gyro for the reply.. it seems like that's what I have it set too.. have both set to portrait (always have).

    - Devices -

    Screen
    -----Size
----------Width (420) won't let me make it 320.. not sure why
----------Height (580) won't let me make it 480.. not sure why
-----Device Orientation - Portrait (what I've had it at all along)
-----Interface Orientation - Portrait (what I've had it at all along)
-----Device Rotation (0) - not sure if this means anything

So yea it still seems to insist on rotating at different times.. and not very easy to get back to the right orientation.. seems like orientation would have some kind of on/off..

    I'm testing on an iphone4.

    Thanks!

just a quick further explanation in case anyone runs into this problem.. so each scene has orientation.. that's what i missed.. go into EACH of the scenes you have.. in the inspector.. click scene.. attributes..

the weirdness for me was that some of my scenes had "landscape" checked only.. and "portrait" on others.. which explained the erratic behavior

my mistake was going to game... devices.. which has orientation options as well and i assumed that was the only orientation options
