Big quake just hit America ? Hope everyone is ok and it's only a shake

Just heard about big quake hitting the U.S.

Hope everyone is ok and that it's just a shake and not a big one.

    Yeah it was pretty weird, first time ive felt a earthquake but it wasnt big. but thats a weird thing on the east coast. Im in New Jersey, they said on the news it originated in Virginia and went as far south as North Carolina and as far north as Toronto. Dont think there was any damage though, hope not

    that quake was nothing, 5.9 < 8.8 we had in Chile last year ;)

    Exactly what I heard, I thought I was going crazy though. Everything in my house just started shaking so I just ran outside. All is well though, haven't heard anything except some lady's china case fell in Virginia.

    we get 6or 7 everytime

    but hey US houses are not bulit to protect from quecks, it can be damage badly too

    It's not the size of the earthquake that was shocking, but the area that it occurred... a 5.8 isn't big in California, but on the East Coast they're a rare thing!

    Hope everyone is okay.... scary that it's happening over there...

    didnt even know about it until i read this post. im in colorado and didnt notice anything/ hear anything from anyone. hope everyone is ok though.

    Just some minor shaking, I also thought I was going crazy, but I thought it was the Dolomite Quarry I live near that shakes every Tuesday, but today, it was much longer.

    Where in Colorado are you? I've been in Denver a couple of times. Or did I tell you that before?
