.971 updated...timer display issues bug!?

Just updated and now my timer which usually displays up to two decimals and counts by .05 seconds:

a)looks "choppy" while counting
b)when it gets to the 9's, it expands to a long string of decimals like 9.05000001 or 19.00004

is this a bug? Not happy here...

    Actually, just previewed it on my device and it seems that all 6's,7's,8's, and 9's display the long trail of decimals 6.25000001 26.600000001

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????
