    If Apple TV ran iOS apps, the living room could be changed dramatically. I think TV is the next big area for Apple. 99¢ apps have changed mobile. The console gaming market would be rocked if Apple TV was half as big as the iPhone or iPad.

    ...and even if they don't move into TVs, iOS devices are getting better at displaying content on TVs.

    I wonder how many people worship at the temple of Apple that they'd pretty much buy any new appliance if it was Apple branded?

    Apple toasters... sync your iphone and play a maze game that engrains the trail you make onto the toast

    Having said that, if they get the controller right, Apple TV could make sony, microsofty and nintendo very unhappy.

    Waaa, I wanna Apple toaster!!

    The cult of Apple has become so engrained now that, providing it was beautifully designed and functioned well, people would snap up an iToaster, do you think?

    Maybe it would look similar to no.7 here? ;-)
