Mouseover?
Hey there,
I'm making an iPhone game, and I want to create some sort of rule for when you mouse over a part of the screen, a menu appears on that same part. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Henry

or you can use magnitude to deteremine distance between the mouse and the object for a bigger radius. Search distance between actors on the gamesalad cookbook youtube channel for a video on that.
So an actor set to 0 Alpha placed over the are you want. In it's Rules:
when touch is pressed ---- or released, depending on what sort of behaviour you're after---
---either
Spawn actor --- your menu, and in it's Rules, change attributes for self.Position x and y for it to appear where you want, or
Move the menu actor from off-screen to positioned on with x,y, or
Have your menu already in position but with its alpha set to 0
Change attribute Menu.Graphics. Alpha to 1 (or use interpolate to fade in over time)
Hope that sorts it for you.
Edit: beaten to it by Calvin and John. :-)
