Is it possible to just upload / update a new game icon, to Apple, without going through the whole submission process?

You can update the big icon on the appstore but not the one on the device unless you make an update.

Tried This - To edit these attributes, log in to iTunes Connect, click the Manage Your Applications page and click Edit Information.

When I try to edit the icon it tells me that I dont have the proper size "screenshot"

I cant edit the ICON

Heres what Apple states -

"The following items are locked:

Categories
Keywords
Large Icon (for iOS apps only)
Localization addition
App Name
Ratings
Review Notes
Version Number
Version Release Control

Looks like a complete app update is in order.

Anyone else had a problem with this?

You can only update the icon with a new update now. Used to be you could do it without submitting a new binary but they've changed the rules...good luck!
