So Im excited that I have a client. However, He wants to post scores to his website. It's not a deal breaker but I would still like to make him happy.

Is there anyway to make this happen?

Arg. I hope I don't lose the client over this. I really hope GS gets this done for October. I have a lot of people ask me this.

I dont think I would expect anything like that for a long time. Twitter and face book integration is the closes thing to it I have heard of them evening working on.

Im not complaining at all. I would really like to see something like that. All we need is to put a dynamic variable to a website like twitter or facebook.

It Should be easy, if we could add attributes to Links, but we can't :(

I doubt you will lose him, because no one can do it now(in GS)

Perhaps it is possible to work around this like posting achievements to Facebook as seen in this thread: http://gamesalad.com/forums/topic.php?id=27458
Perhaps something like a link after each level that links to a script that posts to your clients website. I don't know how you would ad the users name to that but I can imagine that it is possible to use facebooks userdate and perhaps an 'invisible' Facebook app to post.

Might be impossible but I have seen stranger things work ;)

    Cheers.

Yep if you can post text to twitter/facebook you can post a variable. Or at least you should be able to.

With a www.Facebook.com/publish link you can.
There is some info online but I will have to google it again. Perhaps I have time later. I am lpoking for a way to get around my soundbug first.

i swear they turned the url field into an expression editor in .9.6. it would require you to exit the game to post the score, but it should work.

has anyone actually checked the URL field in .9.7.1? i would but we lost power due to Irene.

Just checked. Still the same, no expression editor.

    @Mammoth

From the "Getting started with Gamecenter" PDF

"The data maintained by the Game Center service should only be used to provide the services and functionality necessary for your application, and may not be transferred or copied to other services. For example, you may not download Game Center leaderboard data to post on your app website or to another service."

But who said you can't post your achievements (that is not even in GS/GC yet) to your website. ;)
