Game titles and copyrights

I just got done making my first game ever with game salad. Its more or less just an intro game to familiarize myself game salad. The title I gave the name was astroblasters its a simple space shootem up game. When i searched the app store there is a game on there called astroblaster can i keep my same game title astroblasters or maybe throw a Z on the end of it instead, without being accused of stealing a title or being sued.

    You will probably get a letter from a lawyer asking you to Change It. I must say though and dont take offense. If you view your game as an intro thing to get a feel for GameSalad, Please do not publish it. Just cause you finish a game does not mean it has to go on the app store. The Apps store is a very packed clog place and is already so hard to get an exposure for your app. So unless you think the Game is Quality work please do yourself and all of us a favor and do not add to the congestion on the app store.

    No offense taken. There is alot of BS on the app cant argue with u there though I dont think this game is top of the line best you can find I think its a good app and sets itself aside from most space shooters on the app store. I feel (then again its my game) that it is a good quality game i put alot of money into the graphics and more only thing I would say its missing is face book score publishing but I cant afford GS pro yet. Also if u dont mind helping out the new guy my project size is over 20 mb Do i have any Idea what steps i can take to drop that lower

    I think I can handle that. I'll post the link as soon as I make it. I'll let the pros be the Judge. I don't want to post crap I want to post quality though I have to say it's hard to walk in the shoes on the guys that made angry birds lol. But my next game I think will be right up there with it. I got something that will knock there socks off. Or at least I hope and that's about all we can do
