Game Salad keeps disabling my rules :(

So I'm trying to make an actor "eat" another actor, and I've managed to program the "eater" actor just fine. When I go to make another actor, I build it up like so:

Rule:
Collision with actor type Eater
Destroy

When I test it doesn't work. Then when I go back and look at the rule I built, the dropdown menus are all grayed out and empty, and it won't let me set the rule back up.

try deleting the actors from the stage and putting them back out again.
sometimes the instances don't get updated properly.

also try quitting/restarting GS. sometimes that helps.

    firemaple - thanks!

I just updated the viewer and was having all sorts of problems all of a sudden. Deleting and replacing actors into a scene *seems* to have helped.

    This isn't good, but it's a start...

    Cheers,

    QS :)

I always replace the instances, when I edit the actor. I thought it is normal that the instances are handled separately. I found it a bit annoying, but I thought, it is a missing feature, not a bug :-)

Alright the bug seems to have fixed itself after I updated. I just got this program so I guess I'll just have to remember to reboot it every hour or so. It gets really cranky after a while of running.
