Hi guys,

I will have been using GameSalad for two years next January and have learnt a lot during that time. One thing in particular I have learnt is that I just can't finish games! I lose interest when it gets to all the boring stuff but I love creating the fundamental gameplay. So I've decided to start a blog/website to post the free project files that I have been working on/will be working on. There's only a handful of stuff on there at the moment but I have more to put up that I will be doing so gradually and will continue to make more.

For now you can check the current site with everything on at:

gamesaladguru.com (no cockiness intended, I just liked the alliteration)

I've also decided to put up a template for free that I was considering charging for over in the market place.

Demolition Template:

The template is absolutely packed and is something that I haven't seen before on GameSalad, and it's FREE.

You can download it here:

There is one little bug that I'm away of although it happens infrequently so I can't track it down. (lets just call it leech proofing)

Thanks for checking out the website! (if you do that is)

You have every problem that every game developer has. You get to the tedious boring part and can't quite finish the games.

Some advice: either find someone to finish the tedious parts, or work with someone that'll keep you accountable. I split my earnings with my artist, so I *HAVE* to finish the game so that he gets paid. In a way, he's keeping me accountable. It helps push me through the boring parts of game dev

    Good luck!

I think I'm a little spoiled in the fact that I've only ever used gamesalad as well. I want it all to happen so fast! I'll probably give it another go but not before next summer, going to get through another year of Uni first.

    Thanks for the advice!
