Stop Sound... am I doing something wrong?

Hey guys, can someone give me a hand with stopping the music. I've done it for my previous scenes and it works fine, but now I'm trying to do the same thing for another scene and it's not working. I'm starting to think it's not me, it's GS coz I've done this before.
Anyway, I have a button in a scene which takes you to the next scene. I then created a rule (actor recieves event touch is pressed) and dragged the "stop music" behavior into that rule. I then dragged that actor onto the button which takes you to the next scene. So now when you click on that button it's supposed to take you to the next scene and stop the music, but the music doesn't stop, it only goes to the next scene. Am I doing something wrong?
