It's lovely. Not too many issues with GS, occasional crash when I drag a large image into it and when drag on an image on to actor in the scene to change it doesn't always "lock" onto the target actor. But otherwise working well.

I have been using Lion, since Lion was out, Only some occasional Crushed, but nothing terrible. Work fine.

    Cheers.

Still using Snow Leopard; that's because I'm still using Illustrator and Photoshop CS2... I really thought they finally wouldn't work when I moved to SL but to my surprise, they did/do.... almost certain they won't work in Lion though... (can't afford to upgrade to CS4/5 at the moment...)

PS I've finally replaced the pngs with jpegs on my site, Rob!

Still on snow leopard. My MacBook is one of the few that won't take the upgrade, so I'm not planning on moving unless it becomes a requirement for GS, or I suddenly come into some money :)

My Mac Mini is still running Snow Leopard. I seem to be managing just fine without Full-Screen Chess.

why don't you try to upgrade to lion and see if it works?

it is a lot better then SL, like macos9 to x

It's that good a leap, Calvin? Sounds good to me, thanks. I guess i could put Lion on a drive partition to check whether or not CS2 will work still; bit wary of that but I guess it should work OK. I'll have to check out the details. :-)

Thanks for all the input people, nice to get some stats :)

@Gyro David I would have had to make the trip to Kent eventually :) Isn't CS2 running through Rosetta which is no longer supported on Lion ?

Lion works perfect with my GS.

Lion kept screwing up my wireless, doesn't work with my printer (2 out of the 3) doesn't work with my scanner (1 out of the 2) and had several problems with my other dev software. GS crashed too much for me too.

I'm using Lion, my gamesalad creator is crashing sometimes, but i don't know if that's due to the Lion Mac OS.

THanks for confirmation Rob, that's what I thought too... I'll just have to get my pennies together to get CS5 before taking the Lion plunge...

    @Gyro Cheers David I missed this... :)

Thanks guys other posts are making me think I may hold on Lion for a while, that and the fact that a bin load of other apps are still not supported.

I'm really liking Lion, but it isn't anywhere near a jump from OS 9 to X.

Also Gyroscope, anything that isn't 64 bit won't work, and CS2 sounds quite old.

Thanks for the info, MP: "anything that isn't 64 bit won't work"; I didn't know that.

And yes, CS2 has quite a few whiskers... :-)
