im trying to load particles into my current game...but load times are not instant...one particle loads then a split second the rest work properly like there is a sort of split second lag.. can someone confirm this or am i doing something wrong?

The Particle Startup Time setting controls how quickly all of the particles are shown. If set to zero, it might not get a good scatter effect.

Also, yeah... I've noticed problems with the start of particles... when creating a starry sky... but it then it calms down after one complete cycle has run.

yea thats exactly the problem...it seems to need to run one cycle then its fine... i added a timer and gave it a slight delay seems to be working better... still not sure if its a kind of bug though..im relatively new to particle effects never used them in fowl ops... its a great feature though

Double ditto; I found that if I leave the particle startup at the default 2 seconds, it works fine. Put 0, as you would expect it to be to start straight away, and there's a delay... can't be right...
