Delaying music help

hello,
i have my menu set up where several sound effects play after on another.
I have all my sounds set up but they all play at the same time.
What i want is them to play one after another in a row, if you guys
understand what im saying.
instead of all the sounds play at once, i want 1-2-3.
Any one know how to delay sound or whatever you would call this?
any help would be fantastic!!!

    use timers to offset the sound or music. If you need them to be timed with delays so they play one after each other I would check the length of each sample in a program like Audacity.

    i figured i would use delay or timers.
    but i dont know how.
    im fairly new to gamesalad.
    I add the time attribute but then what?
