Would someone be able to do a step by step 'idiot's guide' to creating an adhoc build please! I've searching & trying all day and cannot get it sorted. My first game will very soon be ready to publish, but I need to test it properly. Thanks in advance!
Yeah iam kind of having the same problem as I have never done an adhoc build before but now with game center i have the need to and the wiki page has no info.
all you do is make sure the device you want to put the adhoc on is added to your develeopmetn devices in the provisioing portal. You then make a app id, then you go into provision profiels and make a DISTRIBUTION adhoc profile. Youll be able to check appstore or adhoc, make sure you check adhoc. Then select the app id and the devices you want the adhoc on and add them to the profile at the bottom. then save and download the profileand install.
Then when you publish with gamesalad you select the adhoc provisiog profile you made, itll then publsih and save the .app file. You then just take the .app file it gives you, drag it over the itunes icon in your dock and let go. Then just sync your device and your done
