So I'm trying to download my game so I can publish it on itunes; but for some reason when I download my game and put .zip on the end it still changes the file to .zip.game

It then opens up the file as a chest game

Here's a picture as always of my problem...

I have the same issue, a work around when you download the game add change the file to FILE.ZIP(DELETE the .GAME) and it will ask you do you want to change the suffix to .ZIP say yes. Then double click it and it will now unzip the proj file for you - CHECK MATE :-)

I already tried that... In the above message ...

    Maybe I'm hearing you wrong...

So the first thing I do is right click on the download button
then I rename it to something like myawesomeapp.zip
if that's what I do then it's still not working for me ):
It keeps on adding a zip.game on it

Nevermind I got it to work (:
I had to find it in my finder the right click on it and say get info
I then renamed it again to .zip and it worked

    Thankssss

Ok new problem now when I upload this file to the binary zip it comes up with an error saying

"The binary you uploaded was invalid. It did not contain a .app bundle."

NOt sure what you are trying to do, If you are publishing your game to the iPhone then it will ask you where you want to save it. Select a location, upload it to the server then it will download it automatically to your desired selection, it will already be a .APP
But remember you have to compile the APP ID and Provision files in the Apple Developers Center as well.

When you publish your game through gamesalad it will prompt you where you want to save the game. When it's finished you'll see a game.app file. Right click and choose compress game.app and it will create a zip file for you

this is what you need to upload. Are you doing it differetly?
