No more GS for me... thanks to the A**hole that broke into my house and took my Macbook Pro with all my graphics, source files, existing games, WIP games, GS tools and templates and lots of additional stuff - I am back to square one (or minus one, with no MBP to work on).

Luckily for me, I backup all my files to an external hard drive. Unluckily for me, the hard drive was connected to the MBP and was taken as well...

My suggestion is… stay safe and keep a hidden backup of your data files.

    Wow, sorry about your luck.

    But, you know about working in GS now, and you should be able to get back to where you were a bit faster, no?

    :( Im sorry for your lost.

    I always back up on a HArd Drive, But I know that they could steal that as well.

    But I also use Dropbox, it is a safe way to backup your projects.

    That horrible news...

    Hopefully the all hole will get whats coming to him.

    Hope you do end up getting back into the GS scene and everything works out for you.

    Karma is a (Word that I cannot use here) and seriously, it will come back triple fold to the douche that stole your Macbook.

    Thanks guys,

    The only reason they took the USB hard drive is because I left it backing up while I was at work...

    While I know GS better, I don’t have a Mac now and by the time I’ll manage to get one my Pro membership might expire, so it’s more $$$ to consider (once you go Pro, it’s hard to go back to Free). Not sure what I’ll do next, but I don’t see how I can get back in the game in the next few months.

    Wow, sorry to hear that:( Hope you don't give up.
    Use dropbox. Free (2GB). I loved it so much that I upgraded to 50GB. That way I can sleep well at night.

    On the good news side, ABC Blast HD is N&N today (under iPad Word Games, but it's a small positive), and my old 'Da Soundboard HD' (my first GS attempt) is #10 in US Music Games.

    Not all is bad...

    ya I want to use some of those programs soon, because computers for me gets more and more important

    also I upload all my files to a web server, so it is better if my computer is stole(highly impossible in where I live)
