ok i dont really know what adhoc is. i searched forum its all stuff that assume you know the defaniton. and the web is all stuff about servers and junk.

i think i found that adhoc is just for testin? and allows itunes for spreading it to testers? if so, does it stay out of the publics eyes? and if you make an adhoc, can you use that name once you make it official? or should you name your adhoc like gamenamev1.5 or somethin?

You pretty much nailed it as to what an Ad hoc is. It's for testing and distributing to other testers. It's the best way to see how your game is going to perform once it's in the App Store. The public has no access to that file.

adhoc is for your eyes only and for testers* if you want (*but thats something I haven't done so can't give more info on that).

also name it what ever you want as long as you DON'T name it to what ever it is once official release to the Appstore (I did that mistake)
